As a company based in Thailand we process personal data in accordance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA). Because this website is also directed at users in the European Union, we also observe the GDPR.

2. Hosting
The website is served via GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, the hosting service processes technically necessary data, in particular IP address, time, requested page and browser information, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not evaluate these data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website).
Data may be processed in the USA. GitHub, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: GitHub privacy statement.
3. No cookies, no tracking, no external resources
We use no cookies, no analytics or marketing tools and no social media plugins. Fonts are your device’s system fonts. All pages, images and scripts are loaded from this domain; no external resources are embedded. Links to other websites only transmit data once you click them.
The website itself stores nothing on your device. The tool pages TFI RiskChart Demo and TFI PriceChart Demo save settings you choose, such as language and display options, in your browser’s local storage. These settings stay on your device, are not transmitted to us and can be deleted in your browser at any time. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (storage that is strictly necessary for a service you requested) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contacting us
The contact form does not transmit data through the website. It opens your email program with a prepared message. If you write to us, we process your details (such as name, organisation, email address, phone number and message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) (legitimate interest in replying), and for users in Thailand the corresponding legal bases of the PDPA. We delete the data once it is no longer needed for that purpose, unless statutory retention periods apply, for example under commercial or tax law.
For email we use [name email provider], which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
5. Newsletter archive and feeds
The TFI Newsletter is currently not sent by email, so we collect no subscriber data. The newsletter archive and the RSS feeds are retrieved from this server and processed like any other page (see section 2).
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to the address in section 1. As a company in Thailand we are also subject to the PDPA, which gives you comparable rights (access, data portability, objection, erasure, restriction and rectification).
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. For our EU representative in Germany, the competent authority is: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (HBDI), Wiesbaden. Under the PDPA, the competent authority is the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Thailand (www.pdpc.or.th).
7. No obligation to provide data, no automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide personal data to use this website. We make no automated decisions, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
