TFITrade Finance Intelligence
TFI TradeCore · The control layer for your trade finance business

Every trade finance deal checked, evidenced – and only then released.

TFI TradeCore runs every letter of credit, guarantee, collection and financing as a case: captured in a structured way, checked for sanctions, export control, TBML typologies, networks, vessels and routes, and decided by people under the four-eyes principle. While a material finding is open there is neither release nor payout – and every action lands in a tamper-evident audit log.

Benefits

What TradeCore takes off your hands

Less manual work between systems, no release that bypasses the control system, and a justification that still holds years later.

  • Nothing slips through

While a material finding is open, TradeCore blocks both release and payout – enforced on the server, not just on screen.

  • Every decision evidenced

Every check records its legal basis, rule and list version and the data it assessed – traceable years later.

  • Approvals expire with the data

Change an amount, a party, a beneficial owner or the sanctions list – and the checks run again.

  • Four eyes, technically enforced

Whoever worked the case cannot approve it – for releases, matches, findings, holds and exceptions.

  • More than name matching

Networks, shell companies, vessels, routes, goods and prices – checked in the context of each transaction.

  • Trade finance rules built in

URDG 758 and UCP 600 deadlines, confirming-bank consent, counter-guarantee cover – TradeCore knows the rulebooks.

  • An audit log that detects tampering

Hash-chained, append-only, protected at database level – with a signed chain anchor for your archive.

  • Your environment, your sources

TradeCore runs with you. Official lists come straight from the source, your own data connects – no list-data licence from us.

Containers with PostgreSQL in your environment, tested tenant separation, OpenID Connect, around 170 API endpoints and signed webhooks for escalations.

Product family

The product family

TradeCore is the core. Four products complement it – each can also be used on its own.

Positioning

What TradeCore does differently

Compared with typical tool categories – not with individual vendors.

  • List screening

Screening in the context of the transaction: a hit holds release and payout, new lists and changed data trigger new checks.

  • Trade finance back office

A control and evidence layer with ICC logic – it complements your processing system without replacing bookings or SWIFT.

  • Workflow and GRC tools

Trade finance rules and server-enforced blocks instead of freely configurable recommendations – loosening only deliberately and signed.

  • Transaction monitoring

Trade-specific typologies per transaction: prices, transport capacity, Incoterms, vessels, corridors and double financing.

  • AI document checking

Deterministic, explainable rules with a legal basis – no model risk in the decision path.

What TradeCore deliberately does not do

  • Core banking, SWIFT and PEP screening are customer-provided connections (interface ready, not live): TradeCore does not book, does not send SWIFT messages and returns no PEP results without your service
  • No automated decisions and no filing of reports – people decide; TradeCore holds and prepares
  • No list data of its own: official lists straight from the source, licensed data via a normalised format
  • No automatic document recognition (OCR): checks run on captured document data
Integration

Integration and operations

Runs in your environment

Containers with PostgreSQL – on premises or in your cloud. Production start refuses to run while reference data is still sample data.

Identity and permissions

OpenID Connect, such as Microsoft Entra ID with MFA; nine user roles, permissions down to product and country, tested tenant separation.

Interfaces

REST API with around 170 endpoints and idempotency keys, signed webhooks for escalations, goAML XML and audit anchor export.

Data sources

Adapters for nine official sanctions lists plus ICIJ, GLEIF and UN/LOCODE; 13 registered reference sources with version tracking.

Pre-production – demos and pilot projects with selected institutions

What comes next

TFI TradeCore is technically complete and backed by more than 3,600 automated tests (as of September 2026). It is not yet released for production use with real customer data: in a pilot project we connect your data sources, identity management and infrastructure and have the platform independently assessed. The connections to core banking, SWIFT and PEP screening are not live: they are customer-provided connections, and the interfaces are ready.

  1. 01

Production release in a pilot project

Independent penetration test, write-once archive, key management and approved reference data – together with pilot clients.

  2. 02

    More automation in screening

All checks starting on submission, connection of your PEP and adverse media service (customer-provided), adapters for commercial list vendors.

  3. 03

    TFI RiskChart inside the case

Country risk with sources directly in the case – where decisions are made.

FAQ

TradeCore FAQ

What is TFI TradeCore?

The working and control platform for compliance in trade finance. Every letter of credit, guarantee, collection and financing is checked as a case, decided under the four-eyes principle and fully evidenced. Release and payout happen only once no material finding is open.

Is TradeCore already in production use?

No. TradeCore is technically complete and backed by more than 3,600 automated tests (as of September 2026), but not yet released for production use with real customer data. That is exactly what pilot projects in a test or shadow environment are for.

Does TradeCore replace our back office or screening system?

Usually it complements both. Core banking, SWIFT and PEP screening are provided by your institution (customer-provided connection, interface ready): TradeCore does not book or send SWIFT messages; it is the control and evidence layer in front. Until a system is connected, a placeholder stands in that never pretends a result – without a PEP result the release stays on hold until a manual review is recorded. For screening, TradeCore checks against official lists in the context of the transaction – licensed data connects through a normalised format.

Where does the data live?

In your environment – on premises or in your cloud. Tenants are strictly separated, the audit log stays with you, and sign-in runs through your identity provider.

Does TradeCore use artificial intelligence?

No. All checks are deterministic, explainable and versioned. TradeCore holds and prepares – your people decide.
